Jillian Robinson graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Studies and a Minor in Nutrition and Foods from Appalachian State University. Within her Dance Studies major she focused in somatic practices and choreography.
During her time at Appalachian, Jillian choreographed numerous works for The Momentum Dance Club Showcases as well as for the Fall Appalachian Dance Ensemble in which she also performed.
Additional performances include the Spring Appalachian Dance Ensemble and the North Carolina Dance Festival where she had the opportunity to work with London-based jazz dancer/choreographer Jason Piper.
Jillian served as the Secretary and subsequently the President of the Momentum Dance Club.
She is experienced in Capoeira (Brazilian martial art), Classical Pilates, Gyrokineis® and Gyrotonic® and she is working towards her certification in Yoga.
Jillian graduated from The Sullivan Dance Centre in 2009. As a student dancer, she was a member of The Sullivan Youth Ensemble and participated in numerous regional and national dance competitions. As a member of the Youth Ensemble she was a part of an award winning team.
In addition to her teaching at Sullivan Dance Centre, Jillian works alongside her father and brother managing their family business.
