Variations class begins with barre work and the rest of the class focuses on learning the choreography of classical ballet variations from the great classical Ballets. Instructors impart the history behind the ballet, the choreographer, as well as an understanding of the specific performance quality that is required for that variation. Students learn a new variation every two weeks. A student must be a Level III or Level IV Ballet student to study Variations.
