About Sullivan Dance Centre

The Sullivan Dance Centre provides classic traditional dance education with an emphasis on proper technique and artistry. The studio provides a conservatory mentality towards training while maintaining a small studio approach towards customer service, personal care, and attention to each student’s individual goals.

Our focus is dance class not dance routines. Our mission is to be age and level appropriate while exposing students to training that is in keeping with professional expectations and standards in Classical Ballet, Pointe, Character, Contemporary Concert Jazz, Modern, Tap, Musical Theatre, and Hip Hop. The studio upholds a strict commitment to appropriate and conservative music, choreography, and costuming. Our staff encourages a spirit of loving, supportive, and inspirational dance education.

We believe that developing dancers includes the development of self confidence, poise, discipline, and character. Through dance, we believe that every child can experience the joy of movement and music in an environment that encourages team work, leadership skills, and responsible commitment to the art of dance. Due to the studio’s commitment to upholding professional standards for regular daily technique class in all genre, every student from the beginner to the pre professional can continue to advance at the appropriate level without having to become a member of a company or competition group. This is a unique aspect of our program.
